The Cicero exit ramps on the Stevenson Expressway have been reopened after overnight rains caused flooding Tuesday morning on the Southwest Side.

The ramps were closed earlier Tuesday morning as a result of a clogged sewer grate, but that issue has been resolved, a state police spokesperson said.

Earlier, both the inbound and outbound Cicero exits are flooded, according to state police.

Illinois Department of Transportation trucks had earlier blocked off the area, according to Illinois State Police.
