The Trump administration sought to deploy California and Oregon National Guard troops to Portland, but a judge blocked it Saturday. The White House sought to send Texas National Guard to Illinois and Oregon. But a judge’s order blocks any troops from any state being sent to Oregon.
Officials confirmed 300 troops from Illinois and another 400 troops from Texas are being mobilized to go to Chicago, Portland and other locations.
